Apple’s Next iMac Release Expected for Halloween 2023, According to Renowned Analyst

Renowned analyst Mark Gurman recently claimed that Apple’s next iMac release is expected to happen just in time for Halloween 2023. The announcement could potentially be made through a press release or an event, although the chances of the latter happening are low. This release date remains uncertain as there is less than a week left in the month.

Gurman’s report, featured in Bloomberg’s Power On Newsletter, focused on the arrival of a new iMac this year. The 24-inch iMac, which many believed to have been forgotten, is reportedly making a haunting comeback. Apple took more than two years before finally updating this device. There are also reports of new Apple MacBook Pros coming out at the end of October, but no specific details were provided.

It is unclear whether Apple will launch the M3 processor for the computers soon. The M2 processor is the only confirmed one by Gurman. Meanwhile, 9to5 Mac reported that Apple plans to release a new variant of the iMac, the 32-inch, in 2024.

There are conflicting reports about the release of the new iMac computers. While Gurman believes there will be an Apple release for the Mac this year, Ming-Chi Kuo, another renowned insider, stated that no Macs are expected to be released this year. Kuo suggests that the best bet for the iMac’s release would be in 2024, with either the M2 or M3 upgrade.

Gurman’s recent claim adds to the speculation that Apple has something in store for the end of the month. The new iMac is rumored to be released two years after its last refresh and will feature the M2 chip.

Overall, Apple enthusiasts can anticipate exciting updates and releases from the company as the holiday season approaches.
