Universal’s NFT Band Kingship is making waves on Roblox as it sets sail, offering an exclusive island adventure to players featuring the popular Bored Ape characters. Developed by Universal Music Group’s 10:22PM label, the collaboration introduces Kingship Island on Roblox, where players can reunite with the Bored Ape avatars and unlock exciting in-game rewards (via Decrypt).

As part of this immersive experience, the Kingship Islands game on Roblox allows players to embark on a quest to unite the Bored Ape band members after crash-landing on an island paradise. The interactive experience also offers six weeks of opportunities for players to earn free in-game items and avatar emotes.

Kingship, inspired by the Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT avatars and one Mutant Ape, originally launched in late 2021. The project grants commercialization rights to NFT holders, enabling them to develop and sell derivative projects and products, much like the popular virtual band Gorillaz.

Kingship extends beyond music, incorporating Roblox’s facial animation technology to create animated avatar accessories and Kingship-themed emotes, available for purchase through the in-game shop and the Roblox Marketplace.

For holders of the Kingship Key Card, an Ethereum NFT pass, exclusive benefits await, including access to special Roblox badges and the privilege of entering the Floating Villa. This strategic integration of NFTs aims to enhance the gaming experience and add tangible value for those invested in the Kingship universe.
