According to a report by local news outlet Kyodo News, the breach involves over 300,000 user information records, including service usage history and internal identifiers. However, sensitive details such as bank account information, credit card records, and chat messages are reported to be unaffected.

The breach has also affected approximately 86,000 items of business partner data and over 51,000 employee records. The incident is believed to have originated from malware infecting a computer owned by an LY subcontractor, leading to unauthorized access.
