Apple iMac 24-inch (M3): Two-minute review
The Apple iMac 24-inch (M3) is deserving of the recognition as the leading all-in-one computer. The Windows-based all-in-ones remain far from rivalling Apple’s iconic product. However, there has been concern in the past that Apple was losing its touch and resting on its laurels after a period where they didn’t seem passionate about refreshing the line in the late 2010s. The M3 chip, however, significantly improves the iMac’s performance, making it more efficient for power-hungry tasks. Although it’s not perfect for hardcore gaming, it’s a good step for Mac gaming.
Unfortunately, the starting price for the iMac 24-inch (M3) at $1,399 / £1,399 / AU$2,199 is significantly higher than the previous model. Furthermore, the base model comes with just 8GB of memory and 256GB SSD, making it appear less valuable than the previous model. Nonetheless, the iMac 24-inch (M3) remains the best all-in-one computer that money can buy. It’s available to purchase now in the US, UK, and Australia.
The starting price for the iMac 24-inch (M3) at $1,399 / £1,399 / AU$2,199 is quite high, especially with just 8GB of memory and 256GB SSD in the base model. Nevertheless, the device can be configured with up to 24GB of unified memory and 2TB of SSD storage. With various options and a high starting price, the new iMac is undoubtedly a significant upgrade.
In conclusion, the Apple iMac 24-inch (M3) may lack some of the unique features of its predecessor, but the new M3 chip and other improvements demonstrate its worth. The iMac 24-inch (M3) might be somewhat pricier, but its performance features are significant upgrades compared to the previous model. Apple has once again asserted its dominance in the world of all-in-one computers through the iMac 24-inch (M3).
