Subaru Unveils 2025 Forester SUV at AutoMobility LA

Subaru has given the public a sneak peek at the new 2025 Forester SUV, which will hit North American dealerships in the spring of 2024. Presented at AutoMobility LA, the sixth-generation Forester offers a new exterior and interior design, as well as improved chassis components.

In terms of features, the 2025 Forester comes with Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, the EyeSight Driver Assist Technology, and the new 11.6-inch SUBARU STARLINK Multimedia system. The model will be available in five trim levels, offering options to cater to different consumer preferences.

The exterior of the Forester boasts a contemporary design, while the interior features a multimedia system with an integrated information display and various durability features. The SUV will maintain an 8.7-inch ground clearance and will offer a 60:40-split folding rear seatback to maximize cargo space.

The engine in all 2025 Forester trim levels is a 2.5-liter SUBARU BOXER engine, accompanied by the Lineartronic CVT for smoother and quieter performance. Standard features include improved response time, agile handling, and enhanced control on various terrains.

Additionally, the 2025 Forester will incorporate the WRX’s dual-pinion electronic power steering rack for more precise steering feel and heightened responsiveness. Wheel sizes will vary across trims, with the Base and Premium models featuring 17-inch alloy wheels, and the Limited, Sport, and Touring models offering larger options.
