TikTok Announces Global Music Extravaganza “In The Mix” with Star-Studded Lineup
TikTok users are in for a treat as the popular app announces its first global music extravaganza, “In The Mix.” For the first time, TikTok will be selling event tickets in partnership with Tickets.com.
“In The Mix” promises to bring to life the beats, trends, and experiences that resonate with TikTok’s community. The star-studded lineup includes chart-topping artists Cardi B, Niall Horan, Anitta, and Charlie Puth, who will deliver a one-of-a-kind, up-close-and-personal performance. Additionally, emerging talents from TikTok’s artist program, TikTok Elevate, including Isabel LaRosa, Kaliii, LU KALA, and Sam Barber, will grace the stage. The event aims to capture the essence of TikTok’s popular For You feed by incorporating activities inspired by community trends.
The musical extravaganza will take place at Sloan Park in Mesa, Arizona, on December 10 and will be globally streamed via TikTok LIVE. Renowned director Hamish Hamilton and Done+Dusted have tailored the live video and event production to fit TikTok’s unique vertical format.
Paul Hourican, TikTok’s Global Head of Music Partnerships and Programming, expressed the platform’s vision for the event: “No other platform mixes music, creativity, and community like TikTok. With In The Mix, our goal is to bring the For You feed to life for fans at the venue and on TikTok. Our vision is to create a show that is reimagined for the TikTok era and our music-loving global community.”
Cardi B, one of the headline acts, expressed her excitement about the event and her love for TikTok: “I love TikTok because it allows me to truly connect with the greatest fans in the world on a real level. I can’t wait to see y’all in person at TikTok in the Mix. Arizona, get ready to party with me!”
The featured artists have a significant presence on TikTok. Cardi B has over 23.6 million followers and 29.6 billion #cardib views, influencing trends on the platform. Niall Horan maintains an engaged community of six million followers, while Anitta boasts over 22.7 million followers and 21.3 billion views. Charlie Puth connects with 22.1 million fans on TikTok, frequently sharing his musical and creative process.
Pre-sale tickets for “In The Mix” will be exclusively available on TikTok, with a special code for followers of the headline artists starting from October 27. The general sale opens on November 2. The event is open to all ages, with minors under 18 required to be accompanied by an adult.
